Alaska Commercial Electronics (ACE) was started in 1986 by Jerry Whitethorn and Richard Tamblin. Eight years later, successful in their venture together, they built the building in Petersburg where ACE continues to operate today.  They prided themselves in providing professional commercial electronics sales and services. From industrial control systems to fish finding equipment to electronics manufacturing, ACE has been at the forefront bringing state of the art electronic systems to Southeast Alaska. 

In 2017, the business ownership changed to Eric and Adele Rosvold as Rich and Jerry transitioned to retirement and mentored our current technician team. Megan O’Neil and Cynthia Benitz joined ACE as the next generation of technicians . The fresh faces of ACE propel the company's reliable sales and service legacy forward as ACE continues to sell and support the finest names in marine electronics including Nobeltec/TimeZero, Furuno, Icom, Morad, Simrad, Comnav, and many more as the company has for more than 30 years. 

ACE now offers a variety of marine electrical services including AC/DC installation, panel replacement and vessel alarms systems.

We are proud to be part of Southeast Alaska’s dynamic and incredibly successful fishing fleet. A fleet that travels and is respected over the West Coast from California to the Aleutians. At ACE, we understand reliable equipment is a must, and should it fail, timely repair is essential.
